I contacted Legend Electrician to install several ceiling fans in my home during the recent hot weather. The electrician, Arash, gave me a verbal estimate and promised to send a detailed written quotation, but I never received one.

I paid a £47 call-out fee but was not given a receipt. A few days later, he installed a flush-mount ceiling fan in my living room. He initially asked for £120 but reduced the price to £100, which I paid. Again, I did not receive a receipt.

When I later enquired about installing additional similar ceiling fans, I was quoted £150 per fan. I subsequently obtained a quotation from another electrician of £40 per fan for similar work.

I am not writing this review to complain about the prices charged, as every business has the right to set its own rates. My purpose is simply to encourage customers to ask for a written quotation before any work begins and to ensure they receive a receipt for every payment. These are good business practices that help prevent misunderstandings and protect both customers and contractors.

Arash was amazing! I got a quote and within 24 hours he was fitting my EV charger cannot fault anything the set up was amazing and it looks great!
